Promptnest is a Chrome extension that helps you save and reuse prompts on AI chat sites. We take your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect, what we don't, and what we do with your data.

1. What data we collect

Promptnest requires a Google sign-in to use. When you sign in, we collect:

• Your Google email address — used to identify your account and link your Pro subscription
• Your user ID — to associate your account with any Pro membership

Your prompts, tags, and settings are stored locally on your device on the Free plan. If you subscribe to Pro, your prompts are additionally stored in our secure cloud database so they sync across your devices and are restored if you reinstall.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not read the content of your prompts
• We do not use your prompts to train any AI model
• We do not track which websites you visit
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
• We do not run ads
• We do not collect any payment information — payments are handled entirely by Polar.sh

3. How we use your data

• Your email identifies your account and verifies your Pro subscription
• Your prompts sync across devices if you are on Pro
• Your account data is deleted when you request it

4. Data storage and security

All account data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database. Row-level security (RLS) ensures only you can access your own data — not us, not other users. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

5. Third-party services

• Google OAuth — used for sign-in only. We only receive your email.
• Supabase — stores your account and prompt data securely.
• Polar.sh — handles all payments. We never see your card details.

6. Data deletion

Cancelling Pro doesn't delete anything — your prompts stay in your account, you can come back any time and they'll be there.

Deleting your account is different. Open the extension, go to Settings, and tap Delete account — your profile, every prompt, every share link, and any subscription record are wiped immediately. If you'd rather we do it for you, message us. Either way, this is final — once it's done, your prompts can't be recovered.

7. Children's privacy

Promptnest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of Promptnest after changes means you accept the updated policy.
