Terms of Service

By using Promptnest ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The service

Promptnest is a Chrome extension and supporting web service that lets you save, organize, and reuse prompts for AI chat tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude). The Service is provided "as is" without warranties.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Promptnest.
• One person, one account. Don't share or resell access.

Subscriptions and billing

• Pro plan is $9.99 USD per month, billed via Polar.sh.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime through your Polar account; you keep Pro access until the end of your paid period.
• Refunds: we don't offer refunds for partial months. If you have a billing issue, email support and we'll work it out.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days notice to active subscribers.

Free plan

The Free plan is, well, free. We may change Free plan limits at any time, but we'll never reduce the storage of prompts you've already saved.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use Promptnest to store or share illegal, harmful, or hateful content.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or harass others.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

You own your prompts. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your prompts solely to provide the Service to you (e.g., sync them across your devices). When you share a prompt via public link, you grant a license to anyone who has that link to view it.

Intellectual property

The Promptnest brand, logo, code, and website are owned by us. You don't get rights to use them beyond what's needed to use the Service.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or $20, whichever is greater).

Termination

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify users at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
